How to capture an image with the LEADTOOLS Screen Capture Toolbar

On the LEADTOOLS Screen Capture Toolbar, click the Capture Properties button () , then choose General Options from the menu.

When the Capture Options dialog appears, click the Hotkey field box. Clear the field by pressing the Backspace key so that "None" appears. Now press the key to be used for capture.
For example, press <F10>.
Note: Unless you wish to change the hotkey, you only need to do this the first time you use the toolbar. You can change this hotkey any time.

On the toolbar, click the View Thumbnails button ( ) to open the Captured Images window. You can close and re-open this window whenever needed to view your captured images.

On the toolbar, click the Select Capture Options button ( ), then choose a capture type from the menu.
For example, select "Menu Under Cursor."

On the toolbar, click the Start Capture button ( ).

Open, close, display, select, or otherwise navigate to what you wish to capture.

For example, roll your cursor over a menu item, display a sub-menu, and roll your cursor over an option.

Press the hotkey you assigned in step 2 above. For example, press <F10>.

Repeat steps 6–7 as many times as needed. Thumbnails of your captured images will appear in the Captured Images window (step 3, above).

In the Captured Images window, select a thumbnail and then right-click it. When the Captured Images Context Menu appears, choose Save.

Note: you can also select multiple images, then right-click and choose Export All.

10.

Select the desired options in the Save Images dialog, then click Save.

11.

Click the Stop Capture button ( ) when you are finished.
