Capture Options Dialog

Use the Capture Options dialog to set up some general capturing preferences like hotkey, multi-capture settings, and cursor options:

To display the Capture Options dialog, click the Capture Properties toolbar button: image\OptBtn.jpg and select General Options from the Capture Properties Menu

The following fields are on the Capture Options dialog:

HotKey Text edit box

Use to set the key that you will be using to trigger screen capture. Click inside the edit box and then press the key you want to use. The screen capture hotkey is <F11> by default.

Delay Text edit box

Use to set the time interval between pressing the HotKey and beginning the capture. This value defaults to 0 (capture starts immediately).

Repeat Text edit box

Use to set the number of captures to perform. This value defaults to 1.

Interval Text edit box

Use to specify how long to wait between captures, in seconds. Only applicable if the repeat value is greater than 1.

Cancel Key Text box

Use to specify which key to use to stop and abort capturing. This box is disabled if the Use Esc Key check box is selected. Do not use the <Shift> key

Use Esc Key Check box

Select the check box to set the <Esc> key to be used to end capture.

Captured Cursor Drop-down list box

Use to select which cursor to place onto the captured image. To choose no cursor, select the cursor that is crossed out.

Delay Cursor Drop-down list box

Use to select which cursor to use between multiple captures. To choose no cursor, select the cursor that is crossed out.

OK Command button

Click OK to close the dialog and save the changes.

Cancel Command button

Click Cancel to close the dialog and discard the changes.
