How To: Use LEADTOOLS ePrint 6 Workstation for the First Time

This topic briefly describes how to use the basic features of LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation and provides you with all you need to know in order to get started.    

Launching ePrint Workstation

There are two ways to access and change the settings for the LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation:

Each of these methods is described in the following sections.

When Launching from within an Application

1.

Open a file in an application that supports printing and select File ➔ Print.

When the Print dialog appears, select "LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation" in the Name drop-down list, then click OK.

The LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation will open with the file loaded into the work area.

Edit, annotate, or otherwise manipulate the file.

5.

From the Workstation's File menu, select File ➔ Save As.

6.

When the Save As dialog appears, specify the path, select the desired file type and format. If you also want to print the document, select File ➔ Batch Print, and when the Batch Print dialog appears select the physical printer to be used and click OK. When you are finished, click Save.

If you only want to print the document, instead of selecting File ➔ Save As from the Workstation's File menu, select File ➔ Print. When the Print dialog appears, select a physical printer and click Print.

When Launching from the Start menu

You can also access the LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation application from the Start menu. When the Workstation opens, the document can be opened manually.

From Start ➔ Programs ➔ LEADTOOLS ePrint Professional, select LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation. The LEADTOOLS ePrint Workstation will open.

2.

From the menu, select File ➔ Open. The Open dialog will appear.

3.

Navigate to and select the file you want to work with, then click Open.

4.

Edit, annotate, or otherwise manipulate the file.

5.

From the File menu, select File ➔ Save As. When the Save As dialog appears, select the desired file type and format, etc. Then click Save.

6.

If you only want to print the document, instead of selecting File ➔ Save As from the Workstation's File menu, select File ➔ Print. When the Print dialog appears, select a physical printer and click Print.
