Capture From Exe Dialog

Use the Capture From Exe Dialog to capture resource images, icons, etc. from an EXE or DLL file.

To display the Capture From Exe Dialog, from the main menu, select Capture -> Capture From Executable…

The following are the fields in the Capture From Exe Dialog:

Exe Name

Shows the EXE or DLL file name that contains the resource images, icons, etc…

Resource Type

Use this drop-down list box to select the type of the resource item to be captured. Options are:

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ 1-Bitmaps

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ 2-Icons

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ 3-Cursors

Count

Shows the number of resource items of a specific resource type.

Resource ID

Sets the resource item ID.

Resource ID Is

Used to detect the type of using the resource item ID, the possible options are:

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ as DWORD value

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ as STRING value

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ as INDEX value

Preview

Use to view the selected recourse to capture. If no valid ID is entered in the Resource ID, then this button will be disabled.

Use to start capture the selected resource in the tree control. If no resource item is selected, this button will be disabled.

Cancel

Close the dialog.
